Engineering has 1,000 undergraduate students and 400 graduate students, a substantial number of whom are international. Supported and inspired by a diverse and talented faculty and staff of 100, UWindsor Engineering is proud of its students’ recent successes in national and international competitions.
UWindsor will soon begin construction of the Faculty’s 300,000-square foot, $112-million Centre for Engineering Innovation. This Centre will serve as a dynamic hub for learning, research, and industry liaison. Recent program developments include innovative new graduate program initiatives and a support program for first-year engineering students. UWindsor is the host university for the AUTO21 Network Centre of Excellence, the largest NCE in Canada, has a number of close industrial partnerships, and is part of the world-class, multimillion-dollar Automotive Research and Development Centre.
