Other evidence of impact and contribution (last 6 years)

During the Spring of 1995 I was invited by Polish Universities and the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences to give a series of Seminars on laser spectroscopy of excimers. I was asked to present invited papers at the International Conference on Laser Spectroscopy (Graz, Austria, 1996). I was subsequently invited to participate in a panel discussion at the Jablonski Centennial Congerence on Luminescence and Photophysics at Nicholas Copernicus University in Poland during the summer of 1998.

There appears to be interest in our work on the spectroscopy of group 2b metal excimers and clusters. We have recently been collaborating with Prof. Czuchaj at the University of Gdansk (Poland) who has been calculating potentials for Hg2, HgCd and other excimers, providing the possibility of comparison between theoretical and experimental results.
