| Students accepted into our graduate program normally receive a graduate teaching assistantship. The amount varies from year to year. The current pratice is to offer a graduate teaching assistantship to all MA students within the first two years of their program. The minimum stipend is $2,384.20 for each of the Fall and Winter terms. Research Assistantships may also be available. Send an e-mail to the graduate co-ordinator, Dr. Catherine Hundleby, if you require further information. Students applying to the MA program will automatically be considered for scholarships if they have a first class honours standing (which for most Canadian universities is a cumulative average of 80 percent or higher). Students in the M.A. program are eligible for Ontario Graduate Scholarships. |
