Welcome to the official homepage for the Windsor Review: A Journal of the Arts, published biannually by the University of Windsor's Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. The Windsor Review features poetry, short fiction and art of a high caliber, as well as interviews with prominent authors and artists.
The journal was established in 1965 by Eugene McNamara, the well-known poet and short story writer and a former professor in the Department of English at the University of Windsor. Poets and short story writers who have seen their work published in the Windsor Review include Irving Layton, Gwendolen MacEwen, Frances Itani and W.D. Valgardson. Visual artists whose works have been featured in the journal include Jane Ash Poitras and Robert Fortin.
