RA of the Month
Has your RA gone above and beyond? Have they put forth that extra effort that makes your year that much better or been there for you through a tough time? Show them their efforts are seen and appreciated!






WIRC Executive of the Month
Have you seen a WIRC Exec member go above and beyond the Exec duties? Are they making that extra effort to ensure events and committees in residence are that much more fun and better? Show that you notice and nominate them!

WIRC Floor Rep of the Month
Has your floor rep been on the ball in keeping your informed and helping you stay involved? Have they done something extra that helped you out or made your day or community better?



Star Student
The Star Student award goes to a student who puts their academics before all else. He/she puts forth 100% for their effort & doesn’t get discouraged by small setbacks. This person is an exemplary student who inspires others to dedicate themselves to their classes.

Awesome Athlete
For the student who is involved in one or more sports, while keeping good grades; this person shows leadership and a responsibility to his/her academics.

Program or Initiative
Did someone you know put on a great program? Maybe they started a volunteer effort on your floor or ran a great fundraising event? Or ran a fun informative program? Give a big thank you and recognize the great effort of an RA, WIRC, or student in the community!

Persevering through the Fire
Has someone you know gone through a rough time recently? Did they not allow themselves to get down? Were they strong, but knew when to ask for help?

Outstanding Contribution to a Life
This is a great award for the person who is always doing what they can to make a difference in the lives of others. Maybe they helped you through a tough time or just always make you feel included and wanted. Show this person what a tremendous difference they make in our lives.

Most Spirited Student
This student shows passion and enthusiasm in their school and extracurricular activities. They always have school spirit and are actively involved within and outside residence. They encourage others to join activities and get involved in residence life.

Making a Difference in a Community
For that person who makes the birthday cards for everyone, or serves as the spindles that bring others together. Recognize the awesome impact of these community makers.

Housekeeper/Food Services Employee of the Month
Is there a Housekeeper or Food Services employee that you feel goes the extra mile? Do they smile all the time? Do they smile all the time? Do they do a great job? Show your appreciation and acknowledge their hard work and accomplishments.

Green Machine of the Month (Most improved or best "green" person)
Is there someone in your building who is promoting a "green" environment? Are they trying to inspire others into being conscious of their "environmental footprint"? Has the person created green programs or initiatives around campus or the building? Then recognize that person for their hard work!
